UFC signs “Kill” Bill’s opponent

Yang Do “The Hammer” Yi of Korean Top Team will soon see action in the professional MMA cage after the Ultimate Fighting Championship signed him recently.

The middleweight fighter, the MMA Weekly.com reported that UFC announced the signing of the 27-year old Yang.

Yang defeated XXtreme’s Saures in the technical knock out, one minute of Round 1 in the Trench Warz 12 Battle Brawl that was held at the Saipan World Resort last May.

Yang was among the three KTT fighters who participated in the NMI’s premier fight event. His team mates were Young Nam “The Hippo” Ku and Ah Sang Dynamite Il.

Yang, the MMA Weekly.com added, has a 9-0 record in his MMA career. Eight of his wins were TKOs and the other by submission.

The UFC has not yet scheduled Yang’s Octagon debut or his first opponent.
