Arnold Mesa said he has been donating games in the last three years in the CNMI.
He said that late last year, he pulled himself off the basketball events due to personal issues. In the last six months, Mesa said he did not officiate in any of the basketball leagues.
Now that he has started going over his woes, Mesa said he wants to continue his passion for basketball.
Mesa is calling to all basketball organizers on the island to let him officiate so he can donate which ever amount he could earn, to the CNMI’s men and women national team that are preparing for the Micronesian Games in Palau in August.
Mesa said he is aware that both men and women national team are raising fund for their travel cost that is why he wants to help them in the best way he can.
Since it was officiating basketball games is something he knows best, he thinks it’s the only way he can help the NMI’s teams out for the off-island games.
“I’ve been doing this for years, and I want to do it again as my continuous commitment to NMI’s basketball community,” Mesa said.
