Wabol tried to meet or beat his net but it wasn’t in his favor this time. He shot a 1-over par in the front nine and struggled a little in the back nine after a heavy down pour approaching Hole No. 12.
The rain left the fairways with casual water and gave Wabol and the entire group a challenge. Wabol had no choice but to settle with 4-over par 40 to gross 77. Sans his 2 handicap, Wabol had a net of 75.
Tars Olopai registered the lowest net, coming first with a net of 71. Olopai birdied Holes No. 7 and 9, and in the front shot 38. He struggled a bit in the back, closing his game with 4 over 40 and gross 78.
Asterio Tawanpiy and Tony Satur were tied at 73 net. However, Tawanpiy won the second place on a scorecard playoff.
Joe Wabol, Jess Seman, and Manny Mangarero came in a three-way tie at net 74. Wabol reached to fourth place on a scorecard playoff, with Seman winning fifth and Mangarero earning sixth.
