Team Wild Bill’s ended the season as the men’s division champions with 39 points, while women’s division champion Shirley’s A Team earned 33 points.
The men’s “Golden Boot Award,” aptly named for the player with the most goals scored throughout the season, was Wild Bills’ Jeeraphong “Jack” Thoensaket with 65 goals and Irish Pagarao of the women’s league with 34 goals.
The Fair Play Team Award, which represents the positive benefits of playing by the rules, using common sense, and respecting players, referees, opponents, and fans was given to IT&E and the women’s division’s Mellow Yellow.
The Saipan Soccer School would like to congratulate all players in its inaugural futsal league and extends its appreciation to all players, coaches, officials, and fans.
The SSS — located at the TSL Complex — officially began operations last June. The school provides a development program in the CNMI and promotes an active lifestyle throughout the community.
