Yakaus clobber Spicy Girls in SEDA ladies division

Spicy Girls’ Cheeraporn Akkasriworn clinched the lone point during the opening Singles 301 Double in/ Double out round after navigating two of her darts on the double’s area of the board to seal her 301 win and single victory against Yakau’s Sally Aguon.

Lois Blaluk, Ressie Takeda, and Frances Magofna gave Yakau the edge it needed to win the round after landing two of their darts to open the double’s area and start working their way up to 301 points and landing their last darts with perfect precision to seal the crucial double’s area to earn them a point a piece.

The Yakaus moved swiftly through the game nailing areas 17, 18, 19, 15, 16, 20, and the bull’s eye area of the board to start scoring in the Partners Wild and Crazy Cricket round and Singles Regular Cricket round pocketing two points and all four points respectively.

Team Yakau then finished the kill in the final Team 1001/1101 Double in/ Double out round. Targeting crucial areas of the board was the best game plan the Yakaus brought in the arena to serve the Spicy Girls the upset of the game, 14-1.

The Yakaus now seat comfortably atop the ladies division of the Saipan Electronic Darts Association’s 37th Seasonal Tournament besting team D’ Pirates Aschooscho by three wins, 97-94.

D’ Pirates Aschooscho 8, Man Amigas 7

D’ Pirates Aschooscho had a rough time defeating team Man Amigas at the Buddies Bar and Grill making the Team 1001/1101 Double in/ Double out round an all or nothing round. In the end team D’ Pirates Aschooscho prevailed by one point, 8-7.

Team Man Amigas wasted no time on the arena during the opening Singles 301 Double in/ Double out round of the game. Rita Fitial, Rowena Trombetta, and Janice Camacho launched the double’s area and sealed it before anyone from their rivaling team got the bearings in the game.

In the Partners Wild and Crazy Cricket round the Man Amigas were able to seal areas 19, 16, 17, 15, 18, 20 to start scoring in those crucial areas.

The Man Amigas were not able to land their darts in the bull’s eye area of the board but were still precise enough to earn them both points from that round.

Rufina Guevarra and Matrina Lisua worked together in the Partners 501 Double in/ Double out round collar a point advancing their team’s score to two points.

Team D’ Pirates Aschooscho refused to be left behind. Upon entering the Singles Regular Cricket each player stepped it up a notch. It paid off at the bottom of the round for they bagged all four points from the round. At the bottom of the Partners Burma Road both teams were tied at seven points all.

D’ Pirates Aschooscho clobbered the Man Amigas in the last round after Rufina Guevarra, Matrina Lisua, Aida Laniyo, and Bhek Dizon precisely placed their darts across the board to collect 1101 points to bag the win by a hairline, 8-7. They now place second after losing their throne to last season’s champs team Jonny’s Yakau.

Swift game for Buddies Sistahs
