Currently, six teams have confirmed their participation in the league, which is open to players between the ages of 14 and 18.
Open registration will be held between Monday, June 27 and Friday, July 1 at the Gilbert C. Ada Gymnasium to accommodate other interested players. Registration starts at 9 a.m. and closes at 6 p.m.
A developmental program, the league is aimed at improving the playing skills of its participants. To accomplish this goal, the league organizers will be conducting a baseball clinic two weeks prior to opening date. The baseball clinic offers participants the opportunity to learn the basics and fundamentals of the game of baseball. Offensive and defensive strategies and other aspects of the game will be covered during the two-week period.
Interested teams are invited to attend a meeting for coaches and managers on Tuesday, July 5 at the Ada gym’s conference room. Parents are also urged to register their kids.
