THE 54th season of the Saipan Electronic Darts Association-Bud Light Dart League kicked off this week, thanks to its major supporter and sponsor, Marianas Pacific Distributors Inc.
“I proudly can say that our last season was truly amazing!” SEDA secretary Ivan Sales said. “Ninety participating teams were divided into eight awesome divisions. We had meet-and-greet events and scrimmages. This league is one of the reasons why darts is our favorite sport on island.”
Sales added, “The SEDA staff also did a fantastic job, turning problems into successes. The behind-the-scenes work was truly amazing. In the end, the whole team effort was incredible.”
Marpac and IT&E are the league’s major and secondary sponsors this season, and are greatly appreciated for their contributions to SEDA, Sales said.
“We encourage every member to patronize their products, including the Budweiser family of beers.” Sales added.
“We would also like to extend our appreciation to the sponsoring bars. They are a very vital part of our league, and we are asking the community to also support them by purchasing their products and services,” Sales said.
“Lastly, we would like to thank all the players and dart enthusiasts who passionately and patiently supported us throughout the season. They made this league possible. I am so glad that we are able to continue, and I know everybody is excited to show off their skills, especially our newbies — we welcome you. We look forward to another enjoyable season. Please remember that sportsmanship will make this season a fun one,” Sales said.
This season, there are 108 participating teams — a 20% increase compared to the previous season.
