This year’s event is a week-long celebration that aims to reach out to the grassroots to increase the popularity of soccer in the NMI.

For the first time, the celebration included Garapan Elementary School and Gregorio T. Camacho Elementary School which are also participating in the NMIFA’s P.E. Support Program.

On Saturday, 143 students from GTC (1st to 3rd graders), 217 students from GES (1st to 3rd graders), along with teachers and teacher aides, 130 club players (U8 & U10) in addition to 30 club coaches and 20 national team players, for a total of six clubs, filled the NMI Soccer Training Center.

There were four fun-filled stations that kept the youth busy. The celebration included three fun drills and  small-sided games for the Public School System and club players.
