ON Sunday, April 30 2023, Saipan Unity Lions Club held its 7th Annual Bike Race at Banzai Cliff with the theme “Pedal For Health.” More than 70 bikers registered for the event.
The categories were long course, mountain bike or MTB, male; long course, MTB, female; long course, road bike, male; long course, road bike, female; short course, MTB, male; short course, MTB, female; short course, road bike, male; and short course, road bike, female.
A raffle draw was also organized by the club, featuring a top prize of $300, a second prize of $200, and a third prize of $100. There were many consolation prizes as well.
Proceeds will be used for the club’s community services and various projects.
Saipan Unity Lions Club President Lion Lindie Mae Moleno, Chairman Lion Willy Barbo and Co-Chairman Lion Argie Buensalido expressed their heartfelt appreciation to all the bikers who support the annual bike race.
