TEAM Mac outscored the TutuRamz, 24-23, Sunday in their Budweiser Belau Amateur Softball Association Open League game at the Dandan baseball field.

Team Mac found their rhythm right off the bat with 14 runs in the top of the first inning, thanks to Dave Maldelbug’s grand slam, Max Keller’s three-run homer and Shane Pangelinan’s two-run homer.

The TutuRamz answered back with five runs  highlighted by Derek Aguon’s three-run homer to cut the lead, 5-14.

After a scoreless second inning, the TutuRamz held Team Mac to just three runs while scoring six. The TutuRamz then bagged five more runs in the fourth inning while Team Mac could only score two.

In the bottom of the fifth inning, the TutuRamz allowed Team Mac no runs while squeezing in seven to take over the driver’s seat, 23-19.

But that was the end of the TutuRamz’s rally as Team Mac stepped up in the sixth and final inning with five runs led by Melvin Keller’s two-run homer to regain control, 24-23.

The TutuRamz still had a chance to catch up, but were allowed only one hit before Team Mac snagged the three outs needed to triumph by just one point.
