Tam Tomadachi in the near court and Team Phan Gotte in the far court played the last of the seven round robin season of games at the MHS indoor Roccball court. Team Tomadachi won the game 52 to 19 and advanced to the 2023 playoffs.
TEAMS Tomodachi, Nakama, and Lotus are in the Roccball playoffs of 2023. Each team has the same 6 and 1 win and loss record. During the regular season of play, Tomodachi defeated Nakama, lotus defeated Tomodachi, and Nakama defeated Lotus.
The team with the best offense for Roccball 2023 was Tomodachi. The team players of Tomodachi scored 320 points in seven games: Team Nakama scored 288 points and team Lotus scored 274 in their seven games of Roccball. Of the 320 points scored by Tomodachi, there were 48 three-point aces, 4 two-point xunks, 8 two-point kees, and 17 three-point goals. In scoring statistics, Tomodachi had a 52% one-point court scoring record and 48% multiple points scoring record.
Teams Nakama and Lotus will play a three-set game to determine which team advances to challenge Tomodachi for the 2023 Roccball championship title. Tomodachi was the 2022 Roccball Champion and will be defending their title against whoever wins the sudden death playoff game between Nakama and Lotus.
In the post season Roccball games, teams will not be allowed to recruit new players or players from other teams. The team rosters of each team are frozen. Only the players registered for Tomodachi, Nakama, and Lotus at the end of the seventh round will be allowed to compete in the playoffs. The Roccball playoff game and the best of three games for Roccball Champion games will be held at the MHS Gym. The starting time will be at 11:30 a.m.
