Tight games in SEDA Government Division

HARD-FOUGHT games highlighted the Government Division of the SEDA Bud Light Dart League on Friday.

Bistro SIA Who Darted  slipped past top ranked True North Power G Mafia 2, 8-7.

Who Darted grasped control in the opening 301 Double In/Double Out game as Vince Cepeda, James Tudela and Joe Esteves won three of the four rounds. Their lead grew even larger as they worked as a team with Justin Zapanta, Patrick Tudela and Pete Mesa joining in to sweep the Partners Crazy Cricket game, 5-1.

The Mafia finally got out of the gutter but  they could not stop Who Darted’s momentum as the teams split the next two games with Who Darted clinching victory, 8-4, with three rounds left.

The Mafia then claimed the remaining three matches to ease the pain of losing, 7-8.

In other matches

Second ranked True North DLNR No Fear clinched a nail-biting victory over True North Got UR 6ix, 8-7.

From start to finish, it was a seesaw battle as the two team split five games  with only the sixth and final Team 1101 left to determine the winner.

In the end, No Fear’s Jeremy Lizama, Frances and Hank Magofna and Jeff Pangelinan reigned supreme to bag the final win needed to secure the match, 8-7.

Joining the winner’s circle were 6JMS Only Fanz who defeated Rendezvous Bluetality, 8-7, and Rendezvous DOC High Risk which edged the 9 Eleven Marpac’ers Eagle, 8-7.
