Tomas Abel, Akiko Miller win 10km run

ASIDE from the 6th Aquathon, a 10km run was also hosted by the Triathlon Association of the CNMI on Saturday with Tomas Abel and Akiko Miller topping the men’s and women’s divisions.

The course started at Paupau Beach and stretched past the Last Command Post for the turnaround point and back to Paupau Beach.

Tomas Abel reached the finish line with a time of 00:45:01. His main competition was Edward Dela Cruz Jr. who followed closely behind with a time of 00:46:00 while Daniel Stutzman took third place with a time of 00:52:41.

Joining the top 5 list were Norlo Jacosalem in 4th with a time of 00:55:10 and Julius Ceazar Mabutas in 5th with a time of 01:00:01.

Women’s division

In the women’s division, Akiko Miller was triumphant, clocking in at 00:50:12 to beat Katrina Obsivanova  who came in second at 00:05:54, and Lydia Tan who finished third with a time of 00:58:57.

Completing the top 5 were Jessica Ortizo who was 4th with a time of 01:03:58 and Roxanne Soriano who clocked 01:08:49 to finish 5th.
