THE True Enforcers continue to prove their worth in the Inter-Government Division of the SEDA Bud Light League after outlasting the 6JMS CNMI Guardians 9-6 Friday at the 6JMS Sports Bar.
The True Enforcers sparked a run in the opening 301 Double In/Double Out match with Mike “Spanky” Dela Cruz, John Inacio and Elija Villar notching a 3-1 win to give their team control.
But the Guardians fought back as Joe Esteves and James Tudela split the Partners Crazy Cricket match 1-1 followed by another split by Paul “The Flash” Quizon and Frank Sablan in the following Partners 501 match which allowed the Guardians to stay within reach.
However, as they transitioned to the one-on-one exchange, the True Enforcers managed to spread the gap with yet another 3-1 run led by Dela Cruz who had a 3.13 PPD.
The Guardians continued to put up a fight, earning two more wins before bowing down to the True Enforcers 9-6.
PowerGen vs Dart Magic
True North CUC PowerGen now shares first place in the team standings with the Guardians after collecting a total of 91 wins which include their recent victory over True North Dart Magic.
It was a game of catch up as PowerGen established control with a 3-1 run in the opening match. Dart Magic tried to bounce back with an even split in the Partners Crazy Cricket match, but faltered in the following Partners 501 match as PowerGen nailed a clean 2-win sweep to lead 6-2.
Dexter Rabauliman and Ray “Udas” Cepeda then secured the last two wins in the Singles Regular Cricket match to hand the remaining rounds to Dart Magic, but it did not affect the outcome as PowerGen still emerged victorious, 8-7.
True North Covid 8 was another team that won Friday after outgunning 6JMS DOC High Risk 10-5.
