Rolly Villanueva had a perfect night  Monday as he notched a 4-0 record. First, he took down Danny Miranda with ease and bested Rey Hermogenes to reach the semifinals.

Last week’s victor, Ray Matsunaga, gave a good fight but he was outsmarted by Villanueva.

Although Matsunaga was sent to the pits, he quickly fought his way back up by defeating Jerry Soriano in the final match of the losers bracket to square off again with Villanueva.

In their rematch, Matsunaga tried but failed to disrupt Villanueva’s rhythm.

Villanueva  claimed the top spot and with it, a chance to vie for the championship which will held at the end of the month.

On Tuesday, it was Roman Rodriguez’s time to shine with a perfect 4-0 record.

His precision shots were unmatched as he defeated Soriano, Matsunaga and Roel Baretto en route to the finals.

Baretto also had a winning streak which ended when he faced Rodriguez.

In the losers bracket, Baretto defeated Matsunaga to earn the right to battle Rodriguez once again.

However, Rodriguez quickly disposed of Baretto to become the sixth player to qualify for the championship.
