(Commonwealth Utilities Corp.) — There will be a scheduled water service interruption on Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2021, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. for customers in Obyan, Naftan and portions of Dandan.
The scheduled water service interruption is due to the connection of a 6-inch PVC pipe from the new PSV assembly to the existing 8-inch PVC pipe from the San Vicente water tank to the Dandan water tank. Water service to the affected areas will resume soon after the project.
This project is part of the San Vicente Water Tank Replacement Project to provide a more reliable water system to the people of the CNMI, while being funded by the United States Environmental Protection Agency.
