From 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 26, 2021, twenty-three Saipan Awaodori children and seven Kinpachi staff members conducted a cleanup at Paseo de Marianas as well as portions of Coral Tree Avenue, Micro Beach Road and connecting alleys. They collected a total of 360 lbs of trash. PDM Promoters Inc. coordinator Sonia Siwa said the monthly activity “is not only for the practical purpose of cleaning up a tourist area, but it also create a sense of unity and friendship among the participants, especially the children. Each one of them takes pride in knowing that they contribute something to their community.”
