DEVIN Yumul is still the overall leader of the Minis 1 class of the Marianas Racing Association Points Race series after a balanced round 3 performance that earned him 47 points on Sunday at Cow Town Raceway Park.
Yumul scored perfect 50’s in rounds 1 and 2, but this time around he had a challenger who proved to be just as quick on the dirt track. Newcomer Vicente Palacios was the rider to look out for as he led heat 1 beating Yumul to notch 25 points for a first place finish. Yumul’s second place finish earned him 22 points.
In heat 2, Yumul flipped the script and took over the course to finish first and bag 25 points. Palacios ended in second place for 22 points, and both riders ended the day with 47 points each.
After three rounds, Yumul remains first place overall with a total of 147 points while Harley Susulin is in second place with 122 and Leighton Palacios is in third with 120.
Minis 2, Minis ATV, Power Puff
In the Minis 2 class, Michael Camacho is still numero uno with 150 points after yet another flawless ride, scoring 50 points for the third straight round.
In overall second place is Ehtan Yumul with 132 points while Mariana Alvarez is third with 120.
In the Minis ATV class, Theresa Borja scored 50 points for the third consecutive round to remain overall first place with a total of 150 points.
In second place is Jesus Santos with 130 points while Melvin Reyes is third with 116.
As for the Power Puff class, Nanako Celis is hanging onto overall first place with 139 points, 47 of which was scored in round 3. Billie Pangelinan is overall second with 134 points while Shaniah Alvarez is third with 115.
