Swimmers will compete in 9 categories throughout the duration of the competition. This competition will be the biggest both have ever joined in their swimming career after joining the 7th Micronesian Games in Palau.
Villagomez, Kimball and their Coach are expected to leave Saipan for Dubai next week because the competition is scheduled to blaze on from December 15th, 2010 to the 19th at the Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Sports Complex.

Our best swimmers will show the world the beauty of our sport through their memorable performances.” said Dr. Julio Maglione, the FINA President, in his welcoming remarks to all participating federations throughout the world.

The 10th FINA World Swimming Championships (25m) in Dubai will not be an exception: it will attract thousands of spectators and the images of the competition will reach hundreds of millions of TV viewers worldwide.” he added.
The younger Keanna Villagomez will represent and shine for the CNMI first in Dubai when she competes in the 100 meter backstroke on the first day of the championship competition of the short course tournament which will be in the 25 meter pool.
Villagomez and Kimball will venture into the water on the second day. Both will race in the 100 meter freestyle and then trudge on to the 50 meter butterfly category, fiercely. Kimball will then move on to the third event of the day to undergo the100 meter individual medley race.
The third day of competition will be somewhat breezy. Both competitors will only have one event each to attend. Villagomez will be racing in the 200 meter backstroke while Kimball will swim in the 400 meter freestyle event.
On the last day of the championship, Villagomez will crack it up a notch by entering two events; the 50 meter backstroke and the 50 meter freestyle category.
Kimball will join Villagomez in the 50 meter freestyle rivalry and will adjourn with entering the 200 meter freestyle race.
