The JICA team consisted of Naoyoshi Sasaki, residential representative for JICA in Pohnpei; Maruhisa Ishii, one of the JICA senior volunteers in Chuuk; and David Manglay, a Yapese who is one of JICA’s local staff members in Palikir, Pohnpei.
The two Japanese volunteers in Yap are Mika Terada, who serves as a technical advisor for the Division of Media and Protocol, Department of Youth & Civic Affairs, and Mr. Ouchi who is a computer specialist with Finance, Office of Administrative Service.
The other agencies that the group will also be visiting while in Yap are the Environmental Protection Agency, the Yap Fishing Authority, the Marine Resources Management Division, the Office of Administrative Services, the Fisheries Maritime Institute, Yap High School and the Division of Media.
