Pastor Greg Dickerman of the Saipan Community Church, in his Thanksgiving message, reminded everyone to give thanks for all the blessings they have received throughout the year.
The church members presented songs and dances, beginning with the Korean Presbyterian Church chorale which sang “For the Beauty of the Earth.” Members of the Saipan Good Baptist Church under Pastor Chang Hee Nam presented a dance number that featured folding fans, followed by sign language praise and chorus from members of the Saipan Truk Bible Church under Pastor Savage Achime.
The Cornerstone Church performed two songs — “The Voice of Truth” and “Look to the Lamb of God.” A chorus and dance number titled “Better Hands” was presented by members of the Saipan Palau Evangelical Church.
Members of the World Mission Glory Church performed three songs: “Mighty to Save,” “China Belongs to God” and “Jesus Loves Me.” Young members of the Saipan Community Church sang “God is Alive” and “Praise is Rising.” The Korean Presbyterian Church Chamber orchestra performed “Great is Thy Faithfulness,” which was followed by the performance of an adult tambourine team from Grace Christian Assembly. The Saipan Good Baptist Church performed two songs of praise before the Korean Presbyterian Church wrapped up the night with a performance of “Gloria.”
The Thanksgiving Coalition Praise Night provided members of the different churches a chance to mingle with each other, crossing borders of religious beliefs, race and color as each gathered for the common purpose of giving thanks.
