(Office of the Governor) — Exercise Valiant Shield 2026 has started in the Asia Pacific region, including in the Mariana Islands.
Do not be alarmed when you see bright lights emitting overnight in the Marpi and Forbidden Island areas. They are associated with the military exercise Valiant Shield 26 and will be removed once the exercise concludes in early July.
