Associate Judge Ramona V. Manglona said the preliminary hearing for Jin Fang Zhang, also known as “Friend,” will resume today, Friday.
The court was told that Zhang is pregnant.
Authorities arrested Zhang after $800 worth of “ice” was purchased from her.
She was arrested in the southern parking lot of the Afetnas Square in San Antonio by members of the Drug Enforcement Task Force and detectives with the Criminal Investigation Bureau.
After her arrest, Drug Enforcement Task Force members searched Zhang’s room at the Sablan Construction barracks in San Antonio, where drug paraphernalia and an unknown substance suspected to be ‘ice’ were found, police said.
Assistant Attorney General Benjamin Petersburg is prosecuting the case while Assistant Public Defender Adam Miles is the counsel for Zhang.
