But he said they have immediately corrected the problem.
There were complaints raised by some staff and patients last week about CHC’s water problem, he said.
Tagabuel said they asked the Division of Environmental Quality to conduct a water examination and at least six water dispensers were found to be positive of total coliform.
“All of the water dispensers of the hospital were taken away and sanitized,” he said.
The problem was addressed last week after the laboratory result came out, he added.
He said it was the first time that CHC encountered such kind of a problem.
There were reports that some people experienced diarrhea but Tagabuel said they could not confirm these.
He said one of their biggest problems is cleaning and sanitizing the water dispenser.
