Musca and Zapanta were named NMASA Male and Female Athletes of the Month for last October after ruling supreme in the SBA-Budweiser King and Queen of the Lanes Tournament last month.
Musca’s amazing record heralds a collection of 998 fallen pins whilst his record snatched a 188 pin fall lead over runner up Raymond Angeles who came in with a whopping record of 810 fallen pins.
Musca pushed his domineering talent in his first three games with 279 pin falls followed by 246 pin falls and then 278 pin falls before ending with a sky rocketing 195 pin falls in the 4th game to scoreboard an average of 249.50 pin falls.
It was Musca’s first time to rule the monthly roll-off after besting more than 10 male participants for the King of the Lanes crown.
On the other Female athelete of the month, Gigi Zapanta earned NMASA’s approval and praise after defeating 12 other female bowlers for the Queen of the Lanes crown and the October title.
Musca and Zapanta now join the elite of other athlete’s of the month for a chance to win the NMASA Male and Female Athlete of the Year which will be given out during NMASA’s annual sports banquet.
