A total of 6 teams participated in the canoe races, which are one of the water sports competitions held every year in this island republic.
Each of the teams that participated in the canoe races was composed of six paddlers in one canoe. The teams that registered the shortest time from start to finish were declared the winners.
A monthly competition spearheaded by CAP, the canoe races this month was held as final preparations for the Micronesian Cup which Palau will be hosting from October 23-24.
