Voyagers tie with Palau

Both teams are the current dominating forces in their divisions, with the Palaus claiming the top spot of the Obyan Division, and the Voyagers topping their opponents in the Agingan Division.

The Voyagers are in a fragile position at the moment, as they are trailed by the NTT Docomo Hustlers who come in second at 14 wins and seven losses. Within the Agingan Division are also the Buddies IT&E Incredibles with 12 wins and the Jonny’s Home Boyz with 11 wins.

Following the Palaus in the Obyan Division are the Wild Bills Shark Attacks with 11 wins and 10 losses. The Shark Attacks’ match against the USSP Fotten Palaus tomorrow night will determine whether they can hold their spot in second place. The current contenders for the Obyan Division’s number two spot are the D’Pirates Who-Oahs, who rank in third place at 10 wins and 11 losses. Other teams within the Obyan Division include the VFW ToroKeyRees (9 wins), USSP Turtles (5 wins), and D’Pirates Team Pirates (3 wins).

Along with the Voyagers, the Shark Attacks also celebrated after a perfect 7-0 game against the D’Pirates Team Pirates last Tuesday.

The VFW ToroKeyRees pulled through with only two wins from the 8-ball singles round. D’Pirates Who-Oah’s Joey Cruz, Ray Takai, Joe Villagomez, and Tero Takai later finished the night with victories in their doubles rounds.

At Utopia Sports Bar, the NTT Docomo Hustlers won all but one of their singles rounds, where Hustler’s Robert Sanciangco came short against Incredibles’ Mark Butac.
