They would like to inform all interested teams or already formed teams for the upcoming 40A and 45A Master Basketball League, that the deadline to submit team rosters, and the entrance fee at $350.00 September 25th 2010 and they urge everyone who are interested to start seeking sponsorships.
Unfortunately, the MBFNMI Board has made a firm decision that the league will not happen or come into session unless all of the participating teams have paid all of the fees for the league.
Teams with overdue balances from the concluded 35A Masters Basketball League must clear their accounts in order for them to be able to play or start a team up that will qualify for the upcoming league. All affected players are strongly urged to contact Mr. Yosh Gabaldon at 234-1234, MBFNMI Treasury.
Payment must be made payable to the Masters Basketball Federation of the NMI P.O. Box 504614 Saipan, M.P. 96950.The Masters basketball league will be played at the Ada gym in Susupe on Saturdays and Sundays.
MBFNMI proposed to implement flexible game schedules. Players who are available on Saturdays will be scheduled to play on Saturdays, and for the rest of the other teams that cannot play on Saturdays will play on Sundays.
The Masters Basketball board also proposed to have some of its games outdoors at the Garapan basketball court.
This will be announced and confirmed by team coaches, and the board in the next meeting.
