Team Mobil took shot gun over the driver’s seat with Jun Estolas bagging two downtown shots, 3 lay up’s, and a generous shot to log in 15 whopping points for Mobil bagging a very secure 7 point lead over Armatech; Estolas scored 25 points later on in the game.
Firmly gripping the steering wheel of the game, Mobil’s MVP of the day, Jack Lizama slips through Bruce Berlin over and over again to package 9 points to Mobil generously.
By the time the siren sealed off the first half of the game, Armatech was able to reduce the gap to 5 points, but nonetheless, Mobil was already very content.
The weary driven Armatech entered the second half with brave hearts as Peter Mendiola manages two downtown shots, and slips past Mobil’s defenders thrice to bag 11 points for Armatech. He was not alone in his quest as teammate Brandon Talania contributed his 6 points.
This was not enough as Mobil’s Lizama again works his basketball talents against Armatech and pockets another 8 points for his team mercilessly with the help of Estolas who also bagged another 8 points. Armatech filled that gap in by the end of the third quarter as the gap was only one point between the rivaling teams.
The fourth round was do or die for both teams, and with Armatech still tasting that sour taste of revenge from their first lost game, they came back to the court with a spiteful conspiracy. They were going to defeat team Mobil.
Brandon Talania and Elmer Esdrelon worked together to snatch the driver’s seat from team Mobil. They gave it one last herculean effort to take the lead. And they did.
Talania was able to score 2 downtown shots in the pressure of the last minutes of the game while Esdrelon fast played for his 4 points. In the last few seconds of the game, Armatech handed Mobil their first colossal downfall.
