Larry Sharry and Ron Gamboa ignited the winning momentum for Docomo by collaring 10 points and 4 points respectively. Sharry and Gamboa both tallied in a total of 24 points and 14 points respectively at the end of the game. Docomo Pacific did not let team Cellular Pro shoot more than 13 points successfully in the first quarter of the game yanking the lead from them by 5 sturdy points.
But Roy Hernandez of Cellular Pro had, had enough of just sinking in petty shots and of the Docomos repeatedly shoving them to the ground. He was able to successfully bag 10 points for his team.
But unfortunately for him, this was not enough as the rest of his teammates were taking their shots for granted and repeatedly missing the basket; Docomo Pacific widened the gap to 14 points by the end of the first half.
In the second half of the game team Docomo did not let Cellular Pro score more than 6 shots for a grand total score of 13 points throughout the ten minutes that team Docomo used to pound Cellular Pro to the ground. Edwin Santos and Larry Sharry both scored 6 points a piece giving no mercy to team Cellular Pro.
Roger Herrera of team Cellular Pro bagged 11 points in his herculean effort to close the gargantuan gap between himself and Docomo. Along with him was teammate Eric Dulfo who chipped in 6 points to keep their boat afloat. But unfortunately this was not enough as their team got the worst of the damages in the earlier quarters.
Docomo Pacific advanced forward by collaring 15 more points in the last quarter of the game leaving Cellular Pro behind.
