The bill, which is now Yap State Law 7-80, appropriates $17,068,470 for the state government’s FY 2011 operations.
Of the amount, $4.8 million is estimated local revenue while the remaining is from other sources, including Compact sector grants.
Tareg said there are discrepancies in the overall budget that would need to be corrected.
These needed corrections were pointed out in a previous governor’s communication to the state legislature on Oct. 6.
The letter highlighted specific sections of the law that would need to be amended.
The needed amendments would ensure that the budget reflects the current approved level by the Joint Economic Management Committee, Anefal said.
