The Grillin’s ended their season with a surprising comeback in the second quarter, charging with 26 points and allowing the MGDs to score a mere 6. Lerio Pagarao led the Grillin’s with his crafty lay ups and speedy passes, earning eight points for the second quarter. Rosell Ritual provided an extra six points, accompanied Roy Hernandez and Maverick Rotap, who shot for four each.
Rushing the game led the MGDs to a large amount of misses and turnovers. As a result, the MGDs failed to maintain the 12-point lead that they earned from the first quarter.
The Grillin’s played with similar performance throughout the third quarter, steadily paving their way to victory. The MGDs recovered their speed and tried to pick up their pace – unfortunately, the lack of time did not allow them to reach the Grillin’s.
Lerio Pagarao dominated to the top of the individual rankings with a total of 24 points, followed by 16 points from Rosell Ritual.
The Grillin’s slowly finished the final quarter with eight consecutive free throws, resulting from the MGD’s fouls.
