MCDONALD’s on Tuesday donated $1,000 as a silver sponsor of the 2025 Triple J 5K Bubble Color Run, which is slated for Saturday, July 5.
Marcia Ayuyu, vice president of McDonald’s of Guam and Saipan, and her staff continue to show their unwavering support for the community and the world of sports by making the donation. Present to receive the check at McDonald’s Middle Road was Triple J Enterprises Vice President Mike Sablan, along with other company representatives.
“McDonald’s, you have been a supporter from the very beginning,” said Sablan. He shared that this will be the fourth event since they last hosted a run before the Covid-19 pandemic.
This year also marks Triple J’s 40th anniversary.
All net proceeds from the run will be donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Although the Bubble Color Run is held annually on Saipan, Sablan said they will bring the event to Tinian for the first time in October.
“It will be our third annual Octoberfest, which will coincide with the first-ever Bubble Run in Tinian,” he added.
Last year’s Bubble Color Run drew over 1,200 participants — making it one of the largest events held on Saipan.
