The game started out slowly between the rivaling teams but with Tom Santos igniting the winning momentum for the Associates by bagging 7 points collaring a total of20 points throughout the game the Associates were able to lead by a shaky 1 point over team Saimar Pilot.
But Ralph Lavarias snatched the driver’s seat from Santos and clocked in 15 points for team Atalig Associates to tie with them 43 points all by the time the bell rang to seal the first half of the game shut
The Atalig Asscoiates were able to push forward not only to break the tie but to leave Saimar Pilot behind. Budz Camacho collared a total of 10 points during the third quarter for team Associates.
During the fourth quarter both teams truly battled it out for the win. With Saimar Pilot’s John Jugos collaring three pointers left and right and the Associates’ Melvin Capalad answering to the challenge with his swift jump shots the court was a coliseum for warriors Monday night.
Needless to say, the Atalig Associates took advantage of the fatigue driven Saimar Pilot to defeat them in the final crucial moments of the game.
Budz Camacho was able to slip past Saimar Pilot’s defense twice for two successful jump shots to brak the tie after it was 56 points all and was followed on his way down in the last 15 seconds of the game bagging both charities to secure a 95-89 winning deficit.
