THE Senate Committee on Gaming is asking members of the public to submit written testimony on Gov. Arnold I. Palacios’ Executive Order 2025-2, which abolishes the Commonwealth Casino Commission.
The committee’s chair, Sen. Corina Magofna, issued a notice of meeting set for today, Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at 10 a.m. in the Senate chamber “to deliberate on Executive Order 2025-002, the proposed transfer of authority for the supervision of casino gaming from the Commonwealth Casino Commission to the Commonwealth Lottery Commission.”
“Members of the general public are encouraged to submit written testimony before the committee meeting,” the senator’s notice said, adding that oral testimonies may be presented during the comment portion of the meeting.
