Earlier a continuing resolution was being mulled after the Senate and the House of Delegates again had differences over the budget.
The House last week rejected the proposed changes made by President Johnson Toribiong in the OEK version of the financial package while the Senate voted to accept the bill.
However on Wednesday, the House in another session voted to adopt the president changes.
The House agreed to recall their vote and accept the president’s proposed changes.
The House voted against the bill due to questionable provisions that were unexplained by the Executive Branch and that the president did not stay within his original amount.
The new budget bill will allow these provisions such as a section that will allow President Johnson Toribiong to reprogram funds retroactive to Fiscal Year 2010.
Another provision inserted was that the president is the repeal of the law which requires reporting of expenditures and obligations of all funds received from outside sources to the Olbiil Era Kelulau.
The law will also allow the appropriation or disbursement of the Protected Areas Network funds from the 2011 fees collected.
The new law also allow the Compact Review Office services purchased with the funds appropriated to it to be exempted from competitive procurement requirements.
Toribiong signed the budget upon his return to Palau from his trip from the United States.
The new law also slashed of the states grants by at least 10 percent.
