After six qualifying rounds that started early this year, the NMI golfers vying for slot will meet for the final match on Oct. 2 at the Laolao Bay Golf Resort’s West Course.
The check-in time will be 11 a.m., and the tee time, 12 noon.
The final round, Wabol said will complete the list of NMI’s top five golfers who will make the trip to the Pacific Games 2011. The committee has already picked the top four but Wabol declined to name them.
Wabol said the final round is still open for anybody who wants to participate and support the NMI golfers by donating the $10 fee. Even the fifth slot, he added, is still up for grabs.
The Pacific Games will be held in August 2011.
The CNMI is among the Pacific territories that will send representatives in one of the biggest sports event in the region.
