White Capalad took the winning streak for team Pilot after bagging 8 points for his team flawlessly. Teammate Leo Itaas helped him secure that winning streak after bagging 6 points and fending off a secure 12 point lead over team Westerners.
Gino Libuw of Westerners pulled an amazing herculean effort by jump shooting 18 points successfully to at least come close the wide gap in the earlier quarter. Ralph Lavarias and teammate Leo Itaas held Libuw at bay and a safe distance by collaring 8 points and 6 points respectively.
By the end of the first half, team Pilot was leading by a shaky 6 point lead over the Westerners.
Team Pilot finally got its act together after having a pep talk with their coach. To show their power and dominance in the court team player Erlon Lansang tallied 10 points over all in the fourth quarter and teammate Itaas contributes his 6 points.
The weary driven Westerners were out of fuel as the last 5 minutes of the game rolled in.
They repeatedly lost control of the ball giving team Pilot wide opportunities for undefended lay ups at the other end of the court. Itaas and teammate Rasty Doronilla scored 8 points and 6 points respectively to secure the win for Saimar Pilot, 79-65.
