Sparks dodges colossal downfall

Eufemio Feria bagged 8 points beautifully giving team Joeten Superstore a shaky two point lead over team Sparks as the siren sealed off the first quarter; later on, Feria scored an overall 18 points for team Superstore.

Coach and team player, Zachary Babauta screamed at his Sparks in the second quarter to keep their game up and to make an impenetrable barricade against Superstore’s offense. But Superstore’s center, Syd Quan was able to use his height in advantage over the smaller Sparks to break through that barrier and fend off another ten points towards team Superstore; Quan was able to bag 31 points for team Superstore. This event tied both teams as the sire closed off the first half of the game.

In the second half of the game, the player lacking Joeten Superstore was suffering the worst case of fatigue as Feria and Quan repeatedly lost control of the ball and missing valuable shots for their team.

Team Sparks finally got its act together yet dodging another colossal downfall. Sahj Hossain, Ichitaro Faisao, Edwin Camacho, and Raymond Babauta took advantage of the weary Superstore. Hossain and Faisao quickly stole the ball from the other side and bagged 4 points a piece. Camacho and Babauta contributed one downtown shot per person grabbing the lead by 15 points.

Feria and Quan gave it one last shot as they put their last strand of power into the last ten minutes of the game. Syd Quan was able to bag 11 points while helping Feria fend off 6 more points.

Thomas Santos of Sparks was able to contribute a total of 5 points, scoring two jumpshots, and 1 charity to end the game with Sparks kicking team Superstore out of town.
