Kyle Kaipat rocketed a two-run home run to the right field as Wuzzup intensified its rally in the second inning giving Pingelap a burden of catching up from a six-run deficit.
John Terlaje pitched seven innings and struck out two leaving it to the Wuzzup fielders to prevent Pingelap in converting its seven base hits to RBIs, two of which were doubles by Jeff Isaac and Macario Scaliem.
Dennis Cabrera knocked in run-scoring single to cap their seven-run second inning. He also drove-in a run with a sacrifice bat in the third.
Peleliu 3, TKK-II 2
Peleliu’s Lefty Shiro lead off a single against Mike Sablan then, made his way to the scoring position after the ball tossed at Mike Taitano slips off TKK-2’s catcher, Marvin Palacios during the first inning.
Dennis Renguul connected a single to let Taitano scored the second run.
The Pelelius fielded TKK-2 in the second inning making the first base the farthest Oscar Sablan could go.
In the top of the third, BJ Attao had two RBI single. In their turn to field the park in the bottom of the third inning, TKK-2 outfielders helped hold Peleliu scoreless in four straight innings.
But in the sixth inning, Payton Sakuma sent Shiro home with his sacrifice fly to take their fifth win.
Reap It 10, Haga-T 2
Tyron Omar led off a single and Leo Bobai helped Reap It build a strong lead in the first inning by hitting a two-run-single, while Vince Cepeda fired a two-run double.
Cepeda went sharper in the third inning knocking in three runs with his double before Lawrence drove him home with a single leading Reap It’s 8-0 rout on Haga-T.
Haga-T’s Eric Tudela and Tom Ito both drove-in runs with their double in the last chance to get even, but Bobai ended their effort by striking out Jiro Takai.
Reap It scored two more runs in the sixth inning to secure their 10-2 victory.
IT&E 12, Brotherhood 6
The IT&E sluggers failed to even with Brotherhood when they took the batting plate in the first inning but they prevented their opponents’ five runs to swell by allowing only one base hit in the top of the second inning.
And when they took the second chance at-bats, IT&E mounted the rally.
Shane Yamada had an RBI single and Mel Manahane fired a two-run double.
Alfred Hocog walked and stole second base before Suo Matsutaro sent him home with a single. Matsutaro himself scored run for a five-run second inning.
Adelbert Lizama struck out one and the IT&E fielders foiled the Brotherhoods’ attempts nailing them to six runs.
Yamada blasted a two-run homer in the sixth inning Hocog had an RBI triple and Matsutaro, an RBI single.
PIC 10, Ngatpang Hilitai 9
Annes Capelle hit a double before Emil Pedermal tied the game in the sixth inning with his triple.
Then, Chuji Rios’s RBI double and Ruben Olgeriil’s RBI single finished off Ngatpang Hilitai in the seventh inning.
Earlier in the game, PIC led by five runs with Smith Regis knocking-in a run-scoring single in the first and a two-run double in third.
Ruben Olgeriil hit two singles one of which scored a run in the third.
Ngatpang Hilitai evened in the fifth inning with JJ Brel driving-in a run with a single and Bengbeng Norita with a sacrifice fly.
Drew Magofna connected a two-run double to help Ngatpang Hilitai take the lead in the sixth inning.
Red Men 10, AJ Falcons 6
Gregorio Iskaua and Donald both fired a go-ahead single to zoom Red Men past AJ Falcons in the fourth inning, then, Joe L doubled to pull it away and the Red Men never looked back.
Bent fired a two-run home run in the seventh inning and Sky Martin knocked in a run-scoring single.
