Dan Mateo fired his second three-point shot and Christian De Vero added four points in the final half of the game to help the G-Stars rout the Celtics.
Rodney Salas launched the rally early in the first half and Nate Mateo barreled through Celtics defense to pick up fouls then, basketed all his six free throws to establish the strong lead.
With season top scorer, Tim Taguchi scoring eight of his 18 points in the first half, the Celtics closed in to one-point deficit before the half break buzzer wailed.
Clayton Kenty scored six of his eight points as he backed Rabauliman up in widening the gap as the second half started.
Then, the G-Stars kept the defense to protect their lead all the way to the end of the ball game.
Nate Mateo led the scoring attack for G-Stars firing 13 points and Rabauliman tallied 12 points.
Taguchi was again, the leading scorer for the Celtics finishing with 18 points and James Webb chipped in 14 points in a losing effort.
Sixers 63, Sonics 54
During last Monday’s game, Joe Ada scored 26 points leading the Sixers to end the Sonic’s five-game winning streak.
Matthew Duenas made it up with coach, Ray Duenas following an incident in their previous game against Runnin’ Rebels. Matthew scored 12 points helping the Sixers secured their 63-52 victory.
Bryan Ajoste led the Sonics with 25 points.
