Playing together as a team was a big factor for team Finance as they started the match on a high note using their experience and expertise as a team and as an individual basketball player. Finance outplayed and outwit their opponent until the final tally of 76 – 69 at the buzzer.
In other knockout match, MPIIC drubbed team Koror State Government with a score of 79 – 66 while team PNOC stuns number 2 seed PTA / SDA by beating them with a final tally of 61 – 54 then MOE – Spiders pounded at MOE II ending with score of 79 – 43.
With such outcome, playoff matches resumes where Ministry of Justice – Cops tests the shooting power of PNCC / UC as of presstime while PNOC – Mercury gets to see action on October 23 against team MOF.
