The RGA, according to Jess I. Wabol also donated to the Samoa tsunami victims, $200 of the proceeds from last Saturday’s October Ace qualifier at the King Fisher Golf Links.
They handed the cash to their member, Ray Tigilau a Samoan.
The RGA officers, Wabol said are asking the other members to donate none-perishable goods like canned goods. At least two to three canned goods would be generous enough to assist the Pacific neighbors who suffered from the recent tsunami.
Wabol said the golf association will be collecting the donations through him and he can be contacted at 288-1129 and Tony Rogolifoi whose telephone number is 288-3515.
This food drive, Wabol noted has been going on since the news about the tragedy reached the CNMI.
The Samoans on the island will go on air in the next few days to inform the public of the ongoing food drive.
