Indicated as the first step of the Palau basketball coaching lessons that covers fundamentals and technical know- how, and skills with regards to basketball individual and team skills as well as basic team defense and team offense. In addition, the workshop will also get to touchbase on individual skills like proper footwork, dribbling, ball handling, rebounding, shooting, and other proficient ways to develop a basketball player. On the other hand, mentors will also get to introduced to different team defense namely zone and man to man.
Consequently, everyone is invited as it is open to all NBL. WNBL, FBL, and ISL coaches, teachers and students, and even players that are interested in learning the essentials of being a basketball coach. Participants who are able to finish the 13 units and a total of 24 hours of learning and gaining knowledge of being basketball mentor would be accredited under Basketball Palau accreditation scheme and would placed under FIBA Oceania as level 1 coaches.
