The discussion will be on plans by the Philippine tuna company to invest in the Western Province.
The delegation will leave for Gizo to hold talks with the Western provincial executives.
The trip is a follow-up from last year when then-Premier Alex Lokopio and his delegation traveled to Philippine.
Western Province had indicated its interest to allow a Philippine company invest in the province apart from the Soltai Fishing Processing Limited.
Lokopio said at that time the province wanted to maximize its resources and one of them was through fisheries.
The tuna company if allowed to invest will set up at Fawcett Kay just opposite Noro. The company will mainly involve fishing of tuna in the province’s water.
Deputy Premier Robert Pye and some of his senior executive will be meeting the delegation.
Premier George Lilo is currently in Tulagi for the premier’s conference.
