BANMI president and development officer, Elias M. Rangamar who was the chairperson of last year’s Christmas Jam said the weeklong hoops will serve as the hands-on lesson for those who attended the coaching clinic that started two weeks ago.
The clinic participants will receive their certifications in the awarding ceremony that will be held at 8 p.m., of Wednesday for the Level O before they would move on to Level 1 of the program.
Rangamar said majority of those who signed up for the class have completed the course, so he is confident to see big changes in the way basketball games will be handled not only in the upcoming Christmas hoops but also in the ongoing leagues.
Sylvan Rangamar, one of the participants, said he is not yet coaching any basketball team but he learned things that he had not encountered before in basketball.
He said that aside from updates on basketball rules, there are also many new techniques of doing the team work.
Elias Rangamar and Gabriel White conducted the coaching clinic.
