Ajoste lifts Sonics past Saints as Rotary caging resumes

The Saints were leading by one point as Leo Galarse and Zack Tudela erased the lead that Dae Min Jeon put up with three penalty shots with less than a minute left in the final half of the game.

Ajoste charged as the Saints tried to stop him. He made it to take the lead and the foul he picked up earned him a bonus shots for their two-point victory.

With Galarse two three-pointers and three free throws the Saints were punishing the Sonics and ended the first half with five-point lead.

Galarse fired his third three-pointer early in the second half and Tudela added one rainbow shot to maintain the lead.

Melvin Cadiang scored 10 of his 12 points and Adrian Palacios added seven points in the second half to help the Sonics close in.

Ajoste tied the game with two-pointer and Palacios took the lead with penalty shots.

Young 670 Rollers 57, Celtics 43

During the resumption of the Rotary hoops after almost three weeks on halt, the Young 670 Rollers satisfied their thirst by defeating the Celtics, 57-43.

Savali Talalemoto scattered 24 points in the court to keep the lead all the way to the ball game.

Jacob Palacios blasted from behind the arc in the first half.
