Munson reschedules Pelisamen’s sentencing

Munson has rescheduled Pelisamen’s sentencing for Nov. 30.

Pelisamen has yet to return after leaving for Guam on Monday for a post-operative examination, his attorney Douglas Cushnie informed Munson.

Munson denied Pelisamen’s earlier request for a new trial.

On June 22, 2009, a federal jury found Pelisamen guilty of conspiracy to commit wire fraud, wire fraud, conspiracy to commit money laundering, and two counts of money laundering.

As former estate administrator, Pelisamen was charged for the unlawful use of $1.37 million from the estate of Rita Kaipat.
