The event will emphasize the contribution of veterans, Sgt Maj. Herman M. Atalig, JROTC senior army instructor said.

“This will be the first it will be held on Rota, if not in the CNMI,” Atalig said, as he encouraged other schools in the commonwealth to follow suit.

The flag folding ceremony will be conducted in conjunction with the social studies department of Rota High School under the leadership of principal Sharlene Manglona.

Atalig said they are proud that Rota students, especially the cadets, will honor veterans.
