KOROR (Palau Horizon) – The Palau High School (PHS) Spiders went with their speed and shooting as their bread and butter to beat a visiting team Bethania High School (BHS), 45 – 15, in a basketball match for the on going Inter Scholastic League Girl’s Basketball.
Leading with a score of 12 – 5 at the end of the first quarter, PHS – Spiders rolled over the whole defensive stance of their opponent, Bethania basketball squad, all throughout the match. Courtesy of Emy’s shooting of the PHS Spiders who was the top scorer for the match with 10, they took advantage of the minimal basketball skills of their opponent. Spiders then continued the assault until the buzzer sounded to get another win for the elimination round of the league.
